Hi,
Is there an option to start an OSC/Pilot File in Fullscreen and Run-Mode, when Windows starts?
Not in the app itself. You’ll just need to use the windows built in tools that allow you to set an app to launch on start, using a shortcut for the settings you want.
But how? I know how to put apps in the autostart and if i leave the app in run mode, it’ll start in run mode. But to make it fullscreen, the only way is to click to fullscreen button on the bottom right. I don’t mean the windows rectangle window fullscreen mode, I mean the OSC/Pilot entire screen full screen mode.
OSC/PILOT should launch in the same state it was last closed. So if you close it in fullscreen mode (the arrows on the bottom left of the window when you have the menus up), then it should re-open in that mode.
Thats right.
But not after a system reboot.
If you save the show with the screen Expanded (bottom right above GRID and next to colour option) it should always start in full screen.
I’ve just tested this on Windows 10 & 11 running OSC Pilot Version 1.11.1 (January 13, 2025), and it seems to remember the last state that it was in when shut down.
I have ‘Auto save on quit’ enabled, which means all I need to do is shut down and it will start in the last mode it was shut down.
After a power fail or force-quit, it will start up in the last saved state, and not the last state before the power fail or force-quit.
System reboot shouldn’t matter. The state is saved to a file, so that should persist between reboots.
