I just plainly don’t understand the docs reference for the Input arguments for color. I see how they work on a macro scale but I don’t understand how to use it in practice. Is this to select from the existing color palette or is this capable of custom colors on the fly?
Selects from the existing entries in the .plt file. By index number.
Although screen space limits the number of displayed and modifiable slots, you can create hundreds of colors and write them to the .plt file.
I have almost 400 colors, works great.
Custom arguments: # C T R
You are still just selecting the color by it’s palette index. We don’t currently allow you to pick any color via an RGB value. So the OSC argument should be an int that picks the palette index. Its the same as using the /OSpilot/Color address
