Wondering if there are plans to make a tethered connection option for iPads? Something like touchosc bridge application? For when wireless shi*ts the bed …. Like when on tour in China … as a random certainly not real ongoing nightly problem for me / night mare.
Didnt try it with OSCpilot, but usually you can use an adapter to get usb AND RJ45 network.
I’m pretty sure that Joel plainly uses a USB-C (USB 2.0) connection from his iPad to his MacBook for all his current DJ sets which can absolutely do midi over network (RTP MIDI). Clubs aren’t likely to have good WiFi in the first place, especially a network designed for a DJ to connect their gear.
