OSC message wildcard *

This really isn’t anything extra inside OSC/PILOT other than allowing the " * " character. Right now, I try to put it in the OSC message line and it just won’t put it in. I’m using ELM, a pixel control software somewhere between Madrix and Resolume, and it has the Asterix as a wildcard character for OSC input. But if OSC/PILOT won’t allow me to put that in the OSC command line, it really limits what I can do.

Hey, thanks for your feedback. However, * is not a legal character in an OSC Address. It can be used when receiving, to say ‘accept everything matched with this wildcard’, but it’s not allowed as part of a sent message.
