# Microsoft surface & Mac

Hi there, I haven’t had the time to try it out yet, but I was curious if anyone knows if it’s possible to use OSC pilot on a Microsoft surface to control Ableton on a M1 Mac. I’m assuming it is but was just curious if anyone else knows for certain.

Yep, this is possible. You can use rtpMIDI as the network MIDI tool, which is compatible with the Apple Network MIDI protocol.

Surface (Pro) is kind of made for this. Finally the touch screen makes sense. Love it.
