# How to control OSC/Pilot by an external device?

Hi everyone,

I’m starting using OSCpilot as a simple command control of Companion.

I would love to create some variables to automatize the command /OSCpilot/Workspace/Select from Companion to OSCpilot but… I did some test and I’m not able to discover what OSC port use OSCpilot by default to be controlled.

I’m sorry because it is a simple question but I could not find any documentation about it.

You select the port that OSC/PILOT listens on in the settings. It can be whatever port you want.
