ADDED: Can listening to an OSC Fader trigger a MIDI output?

Not mission critical, but could certainly be useful. If I drag a fader with my finger, it will send out MIDI notes. However, if I use an external OSC source to move the fader, it does not send out the midi commands. Would it be possible to have the OSC input emulate the actions as if my finger were operating the button/fader to play the midi notes?

It would be handy for the stuff I’m working on, but I’m not sure if there would be unintended side effects…
